Job Summary
The Project Associate will work as a full-time researcher in the AICTE RPS 2025-sponsored project titled "Developing an Advanced Grease for Bearings under Electrified Conditions for Electric Vehicles."
Responsibilities
- The Project Associate will be responsible for researching the design, formulation, and optimization of advanced lubricating greases for rolling bearings operating under electrified conditions.
- The responsibilities include planning and executing laboratory experiments, lubricant formulation and characterization, tribological and bearing performance testing, analysis of friction, wear, electrical discharge, and material degradation mechanisms, and interpretation of experimental data using appropriate statistical and computational tools.
- The Project Associate will maintain detailed research documentation, prepare technical reports, and actively contribute to project deliverables.
- In addition, the Project Associate will be expected to publish research findings in high-quality SCI/SCIE-indexed journals, present the work at national and international conferences, contribute to patent filing and technology transfer activities, and assist in preparing project progress reports and documentation for AICTE.
- The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the industry partner, Mosil Lubricants Pvt. Ltd., participate in technical review meetings, support laboratory management activities at the Tribology and Interactive Surfaces Research Laboratory (TRISUL), and contribute towards achieving the projects research, innovation, and commercialization objectives under the AICTE Research Promotion Scheme.
- Subject to fulfilling the Universitys eligibility criteria and regulations, the selected Project Associate must also register for the Ph. D. programme at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, providing an excellent opportunity to pursue doctoral research while contributing to this nationally funded research project.
