Job Description

About the Role

As a Program Manager – Supply Quality, you will own quality operations for Spinny's vehicle inspection process within the Supply function — driving execution discipline across a ground network of 1,200+ inspectors and new technology/ automation projects that improve how the team works. This is primarily an operations leadership role: you will be responsible for inspection quality ops at scale, and for building the systems and people processes that keep a large, distributed field team performing. The person will also drive select technology and automation initiatives that make quality operations more efficient. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on ground-level execution and problem-solving with large teams, brings genuine automotive/vehicle domain expertise, and can additionally bring a technology/automation mindset to the table.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end quality operations across a field network of 1,200+ inspectors — driving inspection accuracy & consistency
  • Bring good automotive/vehicle knowledge to define and continuously refine inspection standards, defect checklists, and quality benchmarks
  • Build and manage the team structure, training, and performance systems needed to run ground operations reliably across locations
  • Drive key quality & ops metrics through hands-on field engagement, reviews, and course correction
  • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies in day-to-day ground execution and drive structured problem-solving to closure
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Central Ops) to identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual effort for the inspection team
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and compliance standards across all supply quality operations
  • Lead complex projects — spanning process, people, or technology — from scoping through on-ground rollout and adoption

Requirements

Education

A B.Tech in Automotive/Automobile/Mechanical Engineering + 5+ years of hands-on Program Management experience OR

An MBA + B.Tech in Automotive/Automobile Engineering + 3+ years of Program Management experience

Experience & Skills

  • At least 2–3 years in a fast-paced startup or automotive OEM environment
  • Strong automotive/vehicle domain knowledge — understanding of vehicle systems, common defects, and inspection/quality standards
  • Proven experience managing large, distributed field teams and driving operational discipline at scale
  • Working knowledge of using AI/automation to streamline daily workflows
  • A history of taking complex, ambiguous projects from concept to completion
  • Sharp problem-solving instincts, with a bias for structured, data-driven decision-making
