Position overview:

The Program Lead will be responsible for leading initiatives to enhance the financial well-being of women, promoting economic independence and sustainable livelihoods. This role involves strategic planning, program implementation, and collaboration with various stakeholders to empower women through improved access to financial resources and education.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Digital Literacy Programs: Develop and implement financial and digital literacy programs tailored to the needs of women.
  • Coordinate with educational institutions and technology partners to provide training.
  • Access to Technology: Identify and implement initiatives to provide women with access to digital devices and the internet.
  • Collaborate with community centers and government agencies to establish digital hubs.
  • Online Entrepreneurship Opportunities: Facilitate programs that empower women to leverage digital platforms for entrepreneurship.
  • Provide support for the establishment and growth of women-led online businesses.
  • Cybersecurity and Safety Training: Organize workshops on online safety, cybersecurity, and responsible internet usage.
  • Create awareness campaigns to educate women on potential digital threats.
  • Collaborate with financial institutions and experts to provide training on budgeting, saving, and investment.
  • Establish partnerships with banks and micro-finance institutions to facilitate financial inclusion.
  • Collaborate with funding agencies and investors to create opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
  • Savings and Credit Groups: Organize and support the formation of womens savings and credit groups.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of these groups in promoting financial independence.
Personal Qualifications and experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial inclusion or related program management.
  • Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing digital literacy and inclusion initiatives.
  • Knowledge of financial inclusion challenges and opportunities, particularly for women.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
