We're Hiring | Program Director Operations | Mumbai, Maharashtra
We're partnering with a leading social impact organization to hire an experienced Program Director – Operations who will lead large-scale education programs and drive systemic change across Maharashtra. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader with strong government engagement experience and a passion for improving educational outcomes for adolescent girls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of state-wide education programs.
- Partner with senior government officials, district administrations, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Strengthen governance frameworks and improve scholarship and entitlement delivery.
- Drive initiatives to reduce school dropout rates and improve transition to secondary education.
- Lead social and behaviour change interventions to empower adolescent girls and strengthen community participation.
- Monitor program performance using data and ensure achievement of key impact metrics.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Drive collaboration with NGOs, local institutions, and implementation partners to deliver sustainable outcomes.
We're Looking For
12–15 years of leadership experience in the development sector
Strong experience working with Government departments and public systems
Proven ability to manage large teams and multi-stakeholder programs
Master's degree in Public Policy, Education, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
