We are looking for an accomplished Academic & Research Leader to join Chitkara University in a Senior Leadership Role within Computer Science & Engineering Department.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering
- 15-20 years of experience in academics and research
- Strong track record of teaching, research, publications, and academic leadership
- Experience in leading academic programs, faculty teams, research initiatives, and institutional development
- Demonstrated ability to build research culture, industry collaborations and academic partnerships
- Strong understanding of emerging areas in CSE and the evolving higher-education landscape
- Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and team-building capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the CSE academic and research ecosystem
- Drive excellence in teaching, curriculum development, accreditation, ranking and academic outcomes
- Strengthen research, innovation, patents, publications, and sponsored projects
- Mentor and develop faculty and research teams
- Build collaborations with industry, universities, research organizations, and international institutions
- Contribute to the institutions long-term academic and research vision
