Faculty are expected to establish a robust research program, guide and mentor students and postdoctoral scholars, secure external funding, conduct research, and publish in leading journals and conference proceedings.

They are expected to develop and teach undergraduate and postgraduate classes and participate in service activities at the Institute and relevant professional societies and organizations.

Qualifications:
A Doctorate in a relevant discipline from reputed Indian or global institution.
Demonstrated accomplishments as a transformative educator, thoughtful mentor and an inspiring leader.
Outstanding record of original and innovative cutting-edge research in frontier areas - with the leadership having been recognised by top honours, awards, election to prestigious academies.
Strong evidence that the candidate can make substantial contributions to the institute, the profession, and the Indian society.
