LOGISTICS - Production and Materials Planning and Controlling

MISSION

Coordinate production planning and control to meet customer demand, maintaining balanced inventory levels according to production capacity and established inventory KPIs.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Develop and manage production plans to guarantee customer demand fulfillment;
  
• Monitor and adjust stock levels to ensure they remain within the defined inventory targets and production capacity;
  
• Maintain a balanced flow between production output and inventory health to minimize costs and avoid stockouts;
  
• Track and analyze OTIF (delivery performance) KPIs, establishing robust action plans whenever targets are not met to ensure high service levels and operational excellence;

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across Raw Materials with Materials Planning Team, Work-in-Process (WIP) and Finished Goods, ensuring full alignment with established Days of Coverage (DOC) targets and financial budget constraints to optimize working capital;
  
• Actively participate in daily production meetings to ensure cross-functional alignment on daily targets, priorities, and operational constraints;

• Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects within Nidec;
  
  The role involves broad task complexity, requiring professional and emotional maturity, decision-making power, and the ability to assume leadership functions.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree (Completed) in Production Engineering OR Business Administration OR Logistics.

KNOWLEDGE

• Experience in Production and Materials Planning and Control, preferably within industrial environments.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP), Data Analytics and BI.
• Experience with Google Workplace
• Knowledge of inventory management methodologies, demand planning and production capacity control.
• Analytical and strategic skills for data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and the ability to influence across different organizational levels.
• Fluent English.
