About the Role Vinove Software is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute to the evolution of Invoicera, a SaaS-based billing and invoicing platform.
The role requires strong hands-on expertise across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, SaaS architecture, and AI-enabled development. The ideal candidate should be able to understand business problems, make sound technical decisions, build scalable solutions, and take ownership from development through production.
Key Responsibilities - Own end-to-end development of product features from requirement understanding to production.
- Build responsive, scalable, accessible, and maintainable frontend applications.
- Design and develop robust backend services, APIs, integrations, and business logic.
- Work with relational databases, data modelling, transactions, indexing, and query optimisation.
- Handle complex financial workflows involving billing, payments, subscriptions, taxes, currencies, and data integrity.
- Contribute to architecture, technical debt reduction, system modernisation, and performance improvements.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities using LLMs, APIs, structured outputs, RAG, tool calling, and automation where relevant.
- Use AI coding assistants responsibly for development, testing, debugging, refactoring, and documentation.
- Build and maintain third-party integrations, webhooks, background jobs, and asynchronous workflows.
- Implement secure coding practices, automated testing, monitoring, logging, CI/CD, and production best practices.
- Review code, mentor team members, and contribute to engineering standards and architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Business teams to deliver high-quality product outcomes.
- Proactively identify edge cases, risks, usability issues, and opportunities for product and technical improvement.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong backend experience with technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, PHP/Laravel, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorisation, asynchronous processing, caching, and integrations.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent relational databases.
- Knowledge of data modelling, transactions, migrations, indexing, concurrency, and data integrity.
- Experience with SaaS architecture, multi-tenancy, RBAC, feature flags, audit logs, background processing, and API versioning.
- Strong understanding of Git, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, cloud deployment, logging, monitoring, and debugging.
- Experience working with existing production codebases and improving systems incrementally.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical decision-making skills.
- Experience in billing, invoicing, accounting, payments, payroll, or financial products.
- Experience with subscription and recurring-billing systems.
- Experience with payment gateways, webhooks, reconciliation, and financial workflows.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architecture, or message queues.
- Experience with AI/LLM APIs, RAG, intelligent automation, or AI-powered SaaS products.
- Experience with design systems and complex web applications.
- Experience modernising legacy applications or reducing technical debt.
- Strong product and problem-solving mindset rather than ticket-driven development.
