Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis: Study market trends, customer feedback, and competitor products to identify new product gaps, features, or cost-saving opportunities.
Concept to Prototype: Collaborate with design, R&D, and engineering teams to transform initial sketches or concepts into functional prototypes/samples.
Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination: Source, coordinate, and negotiate with raw material suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to procure components for product testing and production.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee product testing, trial runs, and quality checks to ensure final products meet regulatory compliance, performance standards, and cost benchmarks.
Project Lifecycle Tracking: Maintain detailed project timelines, documentation (BOM - Bill of Materials, spec sheets), and track progress across multiple product lines to ensure timely product launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to smoothly transition newly developed products into commercial manufacturing and market launch.
