Procurement Supervisor

Role Objective: To ensure efficient milk procurement, strengthen farmer relationships, and optimize field operations in alignment with Anik Ghee’s quality and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Milk Procurement: Achieve targeted quantity and quality of milk collection at optimum cost within the assigned area.
• Farmer Base Retention: Retain, strengthen, and expand the farmer network; add new farmers to the system.
• TMCC Installation: Set up and manage village-level TMCCs with a minimum of 15–20 farmers; monitor asset usage, weekly cleaning, and documentation.
• Agent Development: Recruit and onboard new agents; recover assets from inactive centres/agents.
• Farmer Support: Identify loyal farmers for bank loans/advances; promote welfare initiatives such as insurance and health camps.
• Agro Services Promotion: Drive adoption of cattle feed, mineral mixtures, fodder cultivation, and other agro-based services.
• Transport Optimization: Manage and optimize milk transport operations, ensuring efficient vehicle scheduling, reduced reception time, and maximum utilization of cans and vehicles.
• Expansion Initiatives: Identify new centres, agents, and farmers for farming concepts and quality milk procurement.

• Strong understanding of rural/agro-based operations.
• Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with farmers.
• Experience in milk procurement, transport management, or agro services preferred.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Commitment to farmer welfare and sustainable practices.
