What would you do?
Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations. Procurement Operations involve the process of acquiring goods and services that a business needs to operate. This includes identifying needs, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders. The goal is to obtain quality products at the best possible prices while ensuring timely delivery. Effective procurement operations help control costs, maintain supply chain efficiency, and support overall business objectives. They are essential for the smooth functioning of any organization. Analyze and design the best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes. Plan implementation based on detailed understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures. Provide the setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data and procurement applications to provide efficient and effective transactions, and to help maximize compliance.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a resource with relevant Vendor Master Data (VMD) domain experience to backfill the position. The ideal candidate should have: Experience in vendor creation, maintenance, bank detail updates, vendor blocking/unblocking, and master data governance. Working knowledge of SAP Vendor Master processes and ServiceNow ticketing tool. Strong understanding of compliance, due diligence, documentation validation, and data quality controls. Exposure to global regions (US, EMEA, APAC) and SLA-driven operations. Ability to independently manage BAU activities with minimal ramp-up time.
