Process Safety Lead 1 We have an opening for Process Safety Lead in the capacity of Sr. Manager / DGM for one of our chemical compay is a global leader in the development, commercialization, marketing and application of specialty engineered chemistries for the refining and petrochemical industries. Job Description of this position is as follow; Position: Process Safety Lead Department: HSE Location: Thane or Taloja Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech Chemical, P.G. Diploma in Industrial Safety is must Position reporting to : VP-Corporate HSE Experience: 18-20 years Industry: Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fertilizer, Oil & Gas industries Skills Required: Competency in using following or similar soft wares PHAST 7.11 ( QRA - Dispersion Modelling ) Emerson PRV Size ( Vent Sizing ) PHA Pro Software ( HAZOP, WHAT IF) Key Requirement: Should have thorough knowledge of all PSM elements and its implementation EHS legal requirements Job Profile: 1. Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) Coordinator HAZOP, What If Analysis, Activity Based Risk Assessment, Human Factor and Facility Siting 2. Participating in process safety Incident Investigation 3. Conducting Process Safety Audits of all DK sites for improving effectiveness of PSM Program. 4. Dispersion Modelling for High Hazardous Chemicals. 5. Handling of Process Safety Assessment Projects. 6. Emergency Relief sizing 7. Process Safety Lab Support). 8. Hazardous area Classification. ( HAC)/ Electrical Classification ATEX/ IECEx Standards. 9. Chemical reactivity & Compatibility Evaluation. 10. Process Equipment s & Unit Operations- Design Safety 11. Evaluation of Process safety testing s & Powder Safety testing s assessments for RM s, Intermediates & Final Products through R&D and/ or external process safety laboratories 12. Trainings on process safety for all DK sites (Chemical Hazards, PHA (HAZOP, What If...) Run Away reactions, dust explosion,, PSI, PSSRs, Safety Culture, Emergency Plan, Static Electricity, PSM SOPs, CCPS 20 Elements). 13. Participation in Management of Change (MOC) process 14. PSM- SOPs Preparation & Implementation of Process safety management as per CCPS Guidelines. 15. Assist VP- HSE and co-ordinate with HSE Heads of all sites in implementing corporate HSE / PSM initiatives.
