Job Description: Adobe CDP Developer
Experience Level: 8–10 Years
Mandatory skills:
- Data Modeling & XDM: Architect and maintain complex XDM (Experience Data Model) schemas, ensuring high-performance data structures for cross-channel events and profile attributes.
- High-Scale Ingestion: Developing batch and streaming data ingestion pipelines using AEP APIs, Edge Network, and Adobe Experience Platform Source connectors.
- Identity Services: Implement and optimize the Identity Graph, merge policies, managing namespace priority and stitching logic for accurate real-time profile resolution.
- Data Transformation: Expert level skill in Data Prep, including the use of mapping functions, calculated fields and data formatting.
- API Expertise: Proficiency in API tools for managing AEP APIs, experience with token authentication for secure API communication and JSON payload optimization.
- Query Service & Analytics: Utilize AEP Query Service (SQL) to perform deep data analysis, data quality checks, and create derived datasets for advanced segmentation.
- Problem Solving: The ability to debug complex ingestion failures or identity stitching issues.
- Audience/Segmentation: Implement multi-entity segmentation, sequential logic and time-based constraints. Evaluate audiences using batch, streaming and edge method.
- Activation: Integration with Target, Analytics, Campaign, CRM, Paid media channels, Destination configurations and Export APIs.
- Consent Orchestration: Implement the technical integration between consent management tool (OneTrust) and AEP.
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in AEP Web/Mobile SDK and Edge Network implementation.
- Understanding of customer journeys and ability to simulate them for end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience using browser to validate network calls and event triggers.
- Exposure to Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Target.
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy labels, and PII handling best practices.
