Job Description :

Submit prior authorization requests with all necessary documentation
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
Collect and maintain accurate medical records and documents
Liaise with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
Address and resolve prior authorization denials, including appeals
Ensure adherence to insurance guidelines and HIPAA regulations
Inform and assist patients with the prior authorization process
Generate and analyze reports on authorization requests
Work with billing, coding staff, and healthcare providers to streamline processes
Identify and implement improvements in the prior authorization workflow
