Principal Software Engineer

• Deliver new features, enhancements and bug fixes to our algo trading platform that has ultra-low latency and high throughout processing.
• Participate in the full project life cycle including technical analysis, design, data analysis and mapping, development and testing
• Understand the existing business functions and participate in defining new solutions that meet business objectives.
• Liaise with the business and development teams with regards to priorities and progress of various tasks and projects.
• Ensure adherence to functional architecture strategy and compliance to company development standards.
• If necessary, help manage projects for the implementation of new systems or system upgrades.
• Willing to work and contribute across entire SDLC including dev, testing and support. Collaborate with various development, QA and support teams across different regions
• L2 L3 support quick support resolution of production and user issues, application testing and maintenance releases. Interface with other support teams, global internal and external clients related to support, use and output of the products. As part of global team, act as key contact point for queries of both technical and functional nature.
• Contribute towards establishing software delivery best practices. Collaborate on architecture, design decisions, and code reviews
• Willing to own deliveries and work hands-on across all aspects of software delivery including development, testing, documentation and support.

• Investment Banking domain good understanding of capital markets
• Experience working with financial markets and understanding of local market characteristics
• Knowledge of exchange connectivity / FIX / Algo Trading or other trading systems.
