Principal Software Engineer- DataSystems & Analytics

As a Principal Software Engineer in our DataSystems & Analytics Team, you will be responsible for capturing SnapLogic platform usage data, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer behavior.

What You ll Do:

• Design and build real-time analytical pipelines for the high volume data.
• Implement and deliver high-quality features that are built for speed, scale, and usability.
• Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Monitoring data performance and modifying infrastructure as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other DataSystem engineers.

What We re Looking For:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience writing, testing, and debugging production quality code.
• Background in distributed systems, and large-scale data processing.
• Excellent design, development, and communication skills and Programming experience, ideally in Java, Spark, Kafka, or Python, and a willingness to learn new programming languages to meet goals and objectives.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, wrangling, visualization, and reporting, with an understanding of the best, most efficient use of associated tools and applications to complete these tasks.
