Pre-Sales Executive - DCM

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer business and infrastructure requirements.
• Engage with customers to assess existing IT environments and recommend appropriate data center solutions.
• Design and present end-to-end data center infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, networking, backup, and virtualization.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, BOMs (Bill of Materials), presentations, and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, solution demonstrations, and workshops.
• Provide technical support for RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and commercial proposals.
• Work closely with OEMs and technology partners to architect customer-specific solutions.
• Assist in sizing, capacity planning, and technology recommendations based on customer needs.
• Support solution migration, consolidation, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
• Stay updated on emerging data center technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of Data Center Infrastructure and Enterprise IT Solutions.
• Knowledge of:
• Servers and Compute Infrastructure
• Storage Solutions (SAN, NAS, HCI)
• Virtualization Technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix)
• Data Backup & Recovery Solutions
• Disaster Recovery (DR) Solutions
• Data Center Networking
• High Availability & Business Continuity
• Infrastructure Monitoring & Management
• Experience in preparing technical proposals and solution presentations.
• Understanding of leading OEM technologies such as Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Nutanix, VMware, Cisco, NetApp, and Veeam.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
