Role Purpose

We are seeking a high-impact Pre-Sales Consultant SAP Testing with strong SAP techno-functional expertise, customer-facing solutioning capability, and a deep understanding of SAP business processes, automation strategy, and AI-led testing innovation.

This role is positioned at the intersection of SAP transformation advisory, test strategy design, solution engineering, demo storytelling, and enterprise deal progression. The selected professional will work closely with sales, product, engineering, customer success, and enterprise client stakeholders to shape technically credible, commercially compelling SAP testing solutions.

The role requires a professional who can understand complex SAP landscapes, identify testing gaps, design structured testing strategies, present solution demonstrations, support RFP/RFI responses, run proof-of-concept engagements, and influence customer confidence across S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, Fiori/UI5, API, integration, and regression testing environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Discovery and SAP Landscape Assessment

• Assess current SAP landscapes, including ECC, S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, Fiori/UI5, and integrated enterprise systems.

• Understand SAP business processes across modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, EWM, HR, and related functional areas.

• Identify current testing challenges across manual testing, automation coverage, regression cycles, integration validation, and release readiness.

• Evaluate pain points related to test maintenance, test data, execution planning, business process coverage, and cross-module dependencies.

• Translate discovery outcomes into structured solution opportunities and customer-facing recommendations.

2. SAP Test Strategy and Solution Architecture

• Design end-to-end test strategies for S/4HANA migration programs, including greenfield, brownfield, and selective transition scenarios.

• Build testing approaches for RISE with SAP programs, Fiori modernization, SAP steady-state operations, and ongoing transformation initiatives.

• Create structured test blueprints covering business process mapping, regression suite design, impact-based testing, and risk-based prioritization.

• Define testing scope across functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, API testing, data migration validation, and interface validation.

• Consider cross-module dependencies, release cycles, upgrade readiness, and industry-specific SAP process complexity.

3. Demo Engineering and Technical Presentation

• Prepare and deliver customer-specific demos for SAP UI5/Fiori workflow testing.

• Demonstrate testing approaches for SAP OData services, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, IDocs, CPI, and PI/PO integrations.

• Explain how modern SAP testing reduces release risk, improves reliability, shortens testing cycles, and supports quarterly upgrade readiness.

• Present automation concepts clearly for SAP functional teams, QA leaders, Basis teams, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders.

• Use storytelling, structured narratives, and proof points to communicate solution value during pre-sales engagements.

4. Proposal, RFP, and Solution Documentation

• Prepare technical proposals, RFP responses, RFI responses, and customer-facing solution documents.

• Support security and compliance questionnaires with technically accurate, role-relevant input.

• Create high-level architecture diagrams, solution outlines, testing strategy documents, and estimation models.

• Develop test effort and complexity estimates based on SAP scope, modules, interfaces, transformation stage, and regression requirements.

• Tailor SAP testing strategies for industry contexts such as manufacturing, BFSI, retail, and other enterprise environments.

5. Customer Engagement and Deal Progression

• Work with Sales Directors to build compelling SAP testing narratives and customer-specific value propositions.

• Lead validation workshops with SAP functional consultants, QA teams, Basis teams, enterprise architects, and transformation stakeholders.

• Address customer objections around methodology, automation strategy, integration reliability, migration readiness, and testing governance.

• Define success criteria for proof-of-concept engagements and validation workshops.

• Run PoCs aligned to real customer business processes, SAP modules, integration flows, and technical environments.

• Support deal progression through technical credibility, structured solutioning, and stakeholder confidence-building.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 810 years of experience in SAP functional consulting, ABAP development leadership, SAP project delivery, SAP solutioning, or SAP techno-functional consulting.

• Strong exposure to SAP projects in consulting, project management, technical delivery, implementation, migration, or customer-facing advisory roles.

• Hands-on understanding of SAP S/4HANA migration approaches, including greenfield, brownfield, and selective transition.

• Working knowledge of RISE with SAP architecture and enterprise SAP transformation models.

• Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, EWM, HR, or similar business process areas.

• Participation in at least one S/4HANA or RISE transformation project in a primary functional, technical, or consulting role.

• Strong communication skills, executive presence, demo capability, and solution storytelling ability.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, SAP advisory, SAP QA consulting, or customer-facing technical roles.

• Lead contributor experience in SAP implementation programs, especially in FI, SD, or MM domains.

• Exposure to SAP test automation, SAP QA, regression testing, impact-based testing, or structured testing frameworks.

• Background modernizing SAP testing from manual or recorder-driven approaches to structured automation frameworks.

• Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, technical presentations, solution workshops, PoCs, or enterprise deal cycles.
