Key Responsibilities:

-Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models using

-DAX, Power Query, and Dataflows,Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses and DirectLake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Lake

-Create modular, reusable datasets for enterprise-wide use

-Collaborate with analysts and business users to gather and translate reporting requirements

-Deploy Power BI artifacts into Microsoft Fabric Workspaces and manage Dataset refresh schedules, Workspace access permissions,Row-Level Security (RLS) rules

-Configure deployment pipelines across Dev, Test, and Prod environments

-Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation

-Set up subscriptions, scheduled refresh, alerting, and data-driven report delivery using

-Perform root cause analysis for data refresh failures, DAX errors, and model issues

-Debug DirectQuery/Import mode performance using Performance Analyzer, Query Diagnostics, and Power BI logs

-Optimize performance across DirectLake, Import, and Hybrid modes in Fabric

-Monitor dataset refresh and usage metrics using Power BI Admin Portal

-Ensure data security and compliance

-Role-based access control, sensitivity labels, and data masking

-Use version control for all report and dataset assets

-Maintain documentation, release notes, and change logs

-Participate in code reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise BI standards

Required Skills & Experience:

- 4+ years of Power BI development and dashboard design experience

-Power BI Desktop & Service

-DAX, Power Query (M), Dataflows

-Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses, OneLake

-Azure services: Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Azure SQL DB

-Proficient in CI/CD, Power BI Deployment Pipelines, and Git-based versioning, Scheduled refreshes, Row-Level Security

-Solid understanding of report publishing, troubleshooting, and workspace governance
