Power Platform Developer
Rockwell is looking for an all-rounder Power Platform Developer to join an agile team to build and support the ongoing enterprise Power platform solutions. We are looking for someone who is well versed in Agile practices and customer-focused. You have experience meeting the demands of enterprise customers. Additionally, they have practical expertise in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure SQL Server, and analytics.
Position Summary:
The Power Platform developer is responsible for understanding, designing, implementing and maintaining power platform solutions that we will use globally. You can guide the junior members in the team on all aspects of application development. Passionate about understanding existing Power Platform solutions. You are open to learning new technology stacks. Furthermore, they have hands-on experience building an end-to-end complex Power Apps application. This experience should demonstrate expertise in Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Lists, and SQL Server. You understand Microsoft Power Platform components, like Power App, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. Additionally, you are flexible to work on multiple areas, including GUI, web front-end, Power Query, Dataverse, and back-end databases like SharePoint Lists and Azure SQL server.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other Engineering or graduates, with concentration in software.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Work with subject matter experts to understand existing Power Apps source code and architecture.
  • I am responsible for understanding, designing, and implementing power platform solutions. These solutions include Office 365 Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI applications, and solutions. Additionally, they involve Microsoft SQL server database tables and SQL query writing.
  • Gather cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical Power platform solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for architecture and source code
  • Perform software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
  • Implement custom solutions that use Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and other Office 365 applications.
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and be able to work closely with product managers, Process owners and relevant Business unit stakeholders
  • Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system problems and customer issues
  • Well versed in Agile practices
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Must have hand of experience building Office 365 solutions including Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI.
  • Have experience using SharePoint List and SQL server as source in developing Power Apps, Flows and PowerBI
  • Microsoft Certification in any of the Power Platform technologies.
  • Power BI skills using SharePoint and SQL server.
  • Experience in relational database designing and migration of data into SQL servers using scripts or ETL.
  • Experience using Microsoft SQL Server, writing sql queries, SQL database support and maintenance.
  • Implement custom solutions that use Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and other Office 365 applications.
  • Knowledge and previous experience working with Dataverse (CDS) would be good to have.
  • Can understand and implement complex Power Automate, Co-Pilot to set up power automate solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience in Web development including JSON, XML, HTML, CSS would be.
  • Experience and familiarity with API use in Power Apps/ PowerBI or in any form would nice to have.
  • SharePoint Development including Lists, Hub site, Document library.
  • 03+ years of experience driving process improvements and multi-team programmes.
  • 3+ years of experience with process improvement and compliance methodologies.
  • Fluent English language skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening).
  • Exposure to global work styles and customer engagement across regions.
