Job Description
- Dashboarding & Visualization: Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs tailored for operational and management needs.
- SQL & Data Extraction: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data directly from SAP tables, HANA views, or SAP BW.
- Data Modeling: Create clean data models in Power BI using DAX and Power Query (M code).
- SAP Integration: Connect Power BI to SAP systems using appropriate connectors (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP BW, or OData).
- Data Governance: Validate data accuracy, ensure system performance, and maintain automated data refresh schedules. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports.
- SQL Skills: Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries and optimizing data retrieval from relational databases.
- SAP Knowledge: Practical experience pulling data from SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM) and understanding SAP database structures (e.g., BSEG, VBAK, EKKO tables).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
