Power BI Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the organization's end-to-end data model and reporting architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and reusable Power BI dashboards.
• Build a unified data model integrating SAP, historical Tally data, and spreadsheet-based information.
• Develop dashboards for:
• Dealer Performance & Dealer Health
• Cluster & Territory Performance
• Working Capital Monitoring
• Receivables Tracking
• Scheme Payout Validation
• Sales Performance Analytics
• Set up and maintain automated data refresh mechanisms to eliminate manual reporting.
• Translate business requirements from Sales Coordination and Management into actionable dashboard features.
• Establish and maintain standard business definitions to ensure a single version of the truth across all reports.
• Document data models, business logic, calculations, and dashboard architecture.
• Provide training and support to business users on dashboard usage and interpretation.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Power BI

• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Experience with:
• Dashboard publishing
• Workspace management
• Scheduled refresh
• Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Data governance

DAX

• Advanced DAX development skills.
• Experience with:
• Calculated Measures
• Time Intelligence Functions
• Context Management
• Performance Optimization

Data Transformation

• Strong knowledge of Power Query and M Language.
• Data cleansing, transformation, and automation expertise.

Data Modelling

• Star Schema Design
• Fact & Dimension Table Architecture
• Relationship Management
• Performance-Oriented Data Models

Database Skills

• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Ability to write and optimize queries against SAP HANA Views.

Data Integration

• Connecting Power BI with:
• SAP HANA

• Legacy Tally Exports

Data Management

• Experience consolidating and validating complex multi-source datasets.
