Job Title: Power Apps Development COE Lead
Experience: 7 - 12 Years
Department: Development Center of Excellence (DevCoE)
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Power Apps Development COE Lead to drive governance, quality, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple development teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in development governance, engineering metrics, process optimization, and AI-enabled software delivery.
Experience in one of the below two technical stream is must:
- BI Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Qlik etc
- Oracle Technologies, ODS, Data Architecture, or Database Governance
Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish Development Standards & Governance
- Define, implement, and monitor development standards, policies, frameworks, and governance processes.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, security, architecture, documentation, and deployment standards.
- Conduct periodic audits and reviews to assess adherence to organizational guidelines.
2. Drive Quality & Delivery Excellence
- Monitor project health, delivery performance, quality metrics, and team productivity.
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and escalation management.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to delivery quality, defect trends, sprint performance, and release readiness.
3. Enable Technology Innovation & AI Adoption
- Promote adoption of AI-assisted development practices and productivity tools.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to engineering processes.
- Drive initiatives focused on automation, developer productivity, and engineering excellence.
4. Reporting & Executive Dashboards
- Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and governance reports.
- Analyze engineering and delivery metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Present periodic status reports, risks, trends, and recommendations to leadership.
5. Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Management
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive implementation across teams.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate governance reviews, steering meetings, and operational excellence initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in DevCoE, PMO, Governance, Delivery Excellence, Project Coordination, or Reporting functions.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Dashboards, Advanced Formulas, Lookups).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience creating management dashboards and executive reports.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repositories, Pipelines, Dashboards).
- Knowledge of engineering metrics, delivery governance, and quality management.
- Exposure to AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Agentforce, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Power BI, Qlik, Oracle, ODS, or database governance frameworks.
- Understanding of CI/CD, code review practices, release management, and DevOps governance.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Power BI
- Oracle Certification
- PMP / CAPM
- PMI-ACP / Scrum Master Certification
- Azure Fundamentals / Azure DevOps
- ITIL Foundation
