Power Apps Developer

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power Apps Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing customized business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, with a focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, and related technologies to create efficient and user-friendly solutions that drive business productivity and innovation. As a Power Apps Developer, you'll design, develop, and maintain applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on building efficient, user-friendly solutions that drive business productivity and innovation, while collaborating with stakeholders and staying updated with platform advancements. Also, by converting the apps which are already created in MS Access, we need to migrate all these MS access-based applications to Power Apps platform.

Responsibilities:

• Application Development:

oDesign, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps).

oBuild and customize Power Apps to meet specific business needs and requirements.

oIntegrate Power Apps with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.

oDevelop and maintain Power Automate flows to automate business processes and workflows.

oCreate data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI.

• Collaboration and Communication:

oCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions.

oCommunicate technical solutions and processes to both technical and non-technical audiences.

oProvide technical support and training to users on Power Platform features and functionalities.

• Problem Solving and Optimization:

oTroubleshoot and resolve issues within Power Apps and related systems.

oOptimize application performance and ensure scalability and maintainability.

oStay updated with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform.

• Technical Skills:

oProficient in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps).

oStrong knowledge of MS Access, VB, Algorithm design, unit & Manual Testing

oStrong understanding of Power Automate (Flow) and its capabilities.

oExperience with Dataverse and SQL databases.

oFamiliarity with SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 tools.

oKnowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.

oExperience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

oFamiliarity with Azure, Azure DevOps, and other cloud technologies.

oExperience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

oExperience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus

oExperience with Visual Studio and TFS or other source control management tools.

oExperience with developing applications that meet accessibility, security, and performance standards is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science/MCA/BCA, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years Proven experience in developing applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with Power Platform certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer Associate) is a plus.
