Eligibility

1. PhD in Materials Science and Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
2. PhD in Physics/Chemistry (with M. Sc Physics/chemistry/materials science major) can also be considered with expertise in Fuel cell/electrolyzer stack design, batteries and/or hydrogen storage, Supercapacitors.

Essential skills

A background in solid - state science and electrochemistry is required. Publications in high impact peer reviewed journal with primary focus on electrochemistry (fuel cell, batteries and or electrolyzers). Hands on experience in solid state synthesis, hydrothermal, copreciptation and solgel synthesis. Hands on experience in electroanalytical techniques. Hands on experience in developing lab prototypes.

Job description

• Material synthesis, characterization, and performance analysis of ORR, HER, OER catalysts, and battery materials.
• Fuel cell/electrolyzer stack fabrication and characterisation.
• Collaborate with other researchers and industry partners to advance in the field
• Battery material synthesis and characterisation.
