Optimize rendering workflows and media handling within Linux systems for performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot codec, format, and hardware compatibility issues to ensure seamless workflow.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align creative and technical execution and document workflows for reproducibility.

Job Requirements

Expert-level proficiency in Cinelerra and strong experience working in Linux-based video production environments.
Proven ability to manage and optimize high-resolution media files and advanced compositing and color grading experience.
Technical troubleshooting skills within Linux ecosystems and strong organizational and project management capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in remote, deadline-driven settings.
Comfortable operating fully within Linux production environments, technically meticulous, and performance-oriented.
Capable of handling complex timelines and layered projects, with flexible scheduling and hourly compensation based on experience and scope.
Experience with broadcast production standards, background in optimizing hardware/software configurations for media workflows, and familiarity with additional open-source video and rendering tools.
Experience delivering content for digital, streaming, or television platforms.
