Position: Head Security Loss Prevention

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head Security & Loss Prevention to lead and strengthen security operations across a large manufacturing network of around 30 plants and multiple company locations across India, primarily in North India.

The role requires a strong Security Leadership professional with extensive experience in managing industrial security, risk management, security systems, investigations, and compliance across multiple manufacturing locations.

This is a pure Security Leadership role and does not involve Administration, Facilities Management, HR, or Industrial Relations responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pan-India Industrial Security Management

• Lead security operations across multiple manufacturing plants, warehouses, and corporate locations.
• Develop and implement a robust security framework covering all locations.
• Ensure effective deployment and management of security personnel through internal teams and security agencies.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments across plants.

2. Security Strategy & Risk Management

• Develop security policies, SOPs, and preventive measures to safeguard company assets, manpower, and infrastructure.
• Identify potential security risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Establish systems for loss prevention, theft control, and incident management.
• Drive continuous improvement in security standards across all locations.

3. Security Agency & Vendor Management

• Manage and monitor outsourced security agencies across multiple locations.
• Evaluate security service providers and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs.
• Optimize security manpower deployment while maintaining high security standards.
• Ensure proper training, discipline, and effectiveness of security personnel.

4. Investigation & Incident Management

• Lead investigations related to:
• Theft and pilferage
• Asset loss
• Misconduct-related security issues
• Unauthorized access
• Security violations
• Establish preventive controls to minimize recurring incidents.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external authorities whenever required.

5. Plant Security Systems & Technology

• Drive implementation of modern security systems including:
• CCTV surveillance
• Access control systems
• Visitor management systems
• Perimeter security
• Electronic security solutions
• Ensure effective monitoring and utilization of security technology across locations.

6. Compliance & Security Governance

• Ensure compliance with statutory and organizational security requirements.
• Conduct periodic security audits and submit reports to senior management.
• Establish uniform security practices across all manufacturing locations.
• Work closely with Plant Heads and Business Leadership for maintaining security discipline.

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience

• 18–25 years of experience in Industrial Security Management.
• Must have handled security operations for large manufacturing organizations with multiple plants.
• Strong preference for candidates from Tier 1 Automotive Component Manufacturing companies.
• Experience managing large-scale security operations across geographically distributed locations.

• Heavy Engineering
• Large Industrial Manufacturing Groups
• Ex-Defence personnel with strong industrial security leadership experience may also be considered.
