Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional with 5–7 years of expertise in Point of Sale (POS) systems to support, enhance, and develop retail and payment applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in POS application development, payment integrations, retail operations, and troubleshooting production issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain POS applications and retail solutions.
• Integrate POS systems with payment gateways, card readers, and third-party retail applications.
• Support end-to-end POS transactions including sales, returns, refunds, promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot POS production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement enhancements.
• Ensure seamless integration between POS systems, inventory management, ERP, and backend services.
• Perform system upgrades, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Create technical documentation and support operational processes.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in POS systems within Retail, Hospitality, or E-commerce domains.
• Strong understanding of POS workflows and retail business processes.
• Experience with POS platforms such as Oracle XStore, NCR, Toshiba, LS Retail, Shopify POS, or similar.
• Understanding of payment processing, EMV, card transactions, and payment gateway integrations.
• Experience with SQL and database troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java/.NET-based POS applications.
• Exposure to Microservices and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of retail inventory, pricing, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Integration experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Screening Points (POS)

• Total years of POS experience.
• POS platform worked on (Oracle XStore, NCR, etc.).
• Experience with payment gateway and card transaction integrations.
• Retail domain experience.
• Production support and incident management experience.
• Database and SQL proficiency.
• Current CTC, Expected CTC, and Notice Period.
