Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PL/SQL Developer with 2 5 years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in developing, optimizing, and managing database solutions, with additional skills in Unix and performance tuning. The role involves handling database transformations, migrations, and supporting production environments, making it essential for candidates to have excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL queries, procedures, functions, triggers, and other database objects.
Perform SQL tuning, including the use of indexes and optimizer hints to improve database performance.
Manage database schema design, tablespaces, and data structures.
Execute data transformation and migration tasks, including database or object cloning and copy strategies.
Conduct performance tuning using tools like AWR , Profiler , and ADR for efficient database operations.
Load and process data from flat files into database tables.
Collaborate with teams to resolve database-related issues and provide production support as needed.
Ensure proper documentation of database processes and maintain email etiquette for professional communication.
Leverage Unix scripting for database-related tasks and system integration.
Provide timely and appropriate responses to queries and technical challenges

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: 2 5 years in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong command over queries, procedures, triggers, indexes, joins, and other database functionalities.
- Hands-on experience with Unix scripting and performance tuning tools (AWR, Profiler, ADR).
- Proficiency in database transformations and migrations, including cloning strategies.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database design and schema management.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with quick and appropriate responses to technical queries.
- Strong documentation abilities and professional email etiquette.
Additional Advantage:
- Experience in production support environments is desirable but not mandatory.
