Playwright Engineer- QA
Location: Gurugram/ Onsite Role
Preference: Immediate Joiner or Serving Notice Perriod
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer Playwright (Python) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in test automation, web application testing, and quality assurance practices. The candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of overall QA experience and at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Playwright automation using Python/JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Python/JavaScript.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test execution reports.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Perform web application, API, and database testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support automation framework enhancements and testing best practices.
- Work with version control systems and CI/CD processes as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Playwright and Python/JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
- Experience in automation testing for web applications.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic understanding of database testing and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of automation framework design and maintenance
