Job Description

• We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in UI and API automation.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modern automation tools (preferably Playwright), solid programming knowledge, and strong experience with databases and CI/CD pipelines.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable automation solutions and ensure high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI and API testing
• Perform UI (Web) automation using tools like Playwright
• Develop and execute API automation test suites
• Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios suitable for automation
• Maintain, enhance, and debug automation scripts for stability and scalability
• Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and automation strategy
• Integrate and execute automation tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Report, track, and validate defects
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience
• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • UI Automation Testing
  • API Automation Testing
• Experience working with Playwright (preferred)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java / Python / JavaScript
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and database testing
• Experience working with databases such as: MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools and pipeline integration, including:
  • Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Strong experience with version control systems (Git)
• Experience in:
  • Test case design and analysis
  • Identifying test cases for automation
  • Maintaining and optimizing automation scripts
• Good understanding of:
  • Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to interact effectively with product and business stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members

Nice to Have

• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Exposure to test reporting and monitoring tools

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
