PHP Developer

• Sharesoft Technology is looking for a PHP Developer who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing dynamic web applications using PHP and related technologies.

• As an ideal candidate, you should have strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with proven experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.

• To succeed in this role, the candidate must be an open-minded and creative team player with strong problem-solving abilities. Good time management and project management skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks

• Create and manage dynamic, database-driven websites and web applications

• Integrate data storage solutions such as MySQL and ensure optimal database performance

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing code for performance and security

• Build reusable, well-structured, and maintainable PHP components

• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver complete solutions

• Work closely with clients to understand requirements and implement effective technical solutions

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Masters degree is a plus

• 2+ years of experience in PHP-based software development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony

• Good understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Strong time management and project management skills

• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Any degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Experience with Laravel, WordPress, or other PHP-based CMS/frameworks

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations

• Understanding of web security best practices

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
