We are looking for a detail-oriented Phonetics Expert with 2 to 7 years of experience to join our team, leveraging their linguistic expertise to transcribe, analyze, and evaluate language in multimedia content. This role is ideal for linguists or phoneticians looking to apply their expertise to real-world language tasks and AI-focused projects in a flexible, remote environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Transcribe audio/video content with high accuracy, including precise timestamps and speaker cues.
Analyze emotional tone, intent, and expressiveness of speakers in detail.
Evaluate and document grammatical structures, phonetic features, and language patterns.
Define key words and phrases, exploring conceptual meaning and contextual relevance.
Produce clear, insightful written and verbal reports emphasizing linguistic accuracy.
Collaborate with the team on advanced language and phonetic analysis tasks.

Job Requirements

Native-level English proficiency with exceptional spoken and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of phonetics, phonology, and linguistic analysis.
Demonstrated transcription experience with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to interpret and accurately describe speaker emotion, tone, and intent.
Deep understanding of grammar, semantics, and language usage across contexts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and professionalism.
Availability for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
An advanced academic background in linguistics, phonetics, or a related field is preferred.
