Pharmaceutical Formulation & Encapsulation Scientist

• This position involves in the development and optimization of pharmaceutical formulations and encapsulation systems for capsule dosage forms, functional foods, nutraceuticals, and food ingredients, with a focus on enhancing stability, performance, and delivery of sensitive components.

• Design and develop formulations for functional foods, nutraceuticals, and food ingredients
• Apply encapsulation technologies to protect sensitive compounds (e.g., flavors, vitamins, probiotics, bioactives)
• Develop encapsulated systems for capsule filling, including powders, granules, pellets, beads, microspheres, and lipid-based fills
• Evaluate stability, release behavior, and performance of encapsulated ingredients under food processing and storage conditions
• Conduct laboratory trials, pilot studies, and data analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, and product development
• Document experimental methods, results, and technical reports in compliance with food industry standards

• Masters or PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in formulation and encapsulation in pharmaceutical, food or nutraceutical applications
• Expertise in encapsulation approaches such as emulsions,pelletization, spray drying, spray congealing, fluid-bed coating, liposomes, coacervation, and polymer-based microencapsulation
• Strong understanding of ingredient interactions, stability, and release mechanisms in food matrices
• Ability to work in shifts. Preferably Male.
