Key Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end performance testing using Gatling.

Design and develop performance test scripts using Scala and Java.

Perform performance engineering activities and identify system bottlenecks.

Analyse performance test results and provide recommendations for improvement.

Perform non-functional requirement gathering and translate requirements into performance test scenarios.

Set up test environments and test data required for performance testing.

Create and maintain performance test scripts, documentation and test reports.

Use APM and profiling tools to analyse application and system performance.

Collaborate with development, QA and engineering teams to resolve performance issues.

Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.

Mandatory Skills Experience

Performance Testing - Minimum 3 years

Non-Functional Requirement Gathering - Minimum 3 years

Scala - Minimum 3 years

Gatling - Minimum 3 years

GIT - Minimum 3 years

Hands-on experience with Performance Engineering.

Experience with Splunk - Minimum 2 years.

Experience with APM tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics etc. - Minimum 2 years.

Technical Skills

Performance Tools: Gatling, JMeter

Programming: Scala, Java

APM / Monitoring: AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic

Profiling: JProfiler, JVisualVM, SQL Profiler

CI/CD: Jenkins

Build Tools: Maven, Gradle

Version Control: Git

API Testing: Postman

Front-end performance testing tools exposure is an added advantage.
