Performance Marketing Manager

Role & responsibilities

Performance Marketing:

- Own Meta and Google performance marketing end-to-end.

- Plan, launch, analyse and optimise campaigns personally.

- Manage campaign structures, audiences, bidding, budgets and scaling.

- Build systematic prospecting, retargeting and retention strategies.

- Identify opportunities to scale spend while maintaining contribution margins.

Growth Economics:

Own and improve:

- CAC

- MER

- ROAS

- Blended CAC

- AOV

- Conversion Rate

- LTV:CAC

- New vs returning customer economics

- Understand the relationship between advertising spend, gross margins and contribution margins.

- Think beyond platform ROAS and optimise for actual business profitability.

Creative Performance:

- Work closely with Compound's content and creative teams.

- Analyse which hooks, formats, creators, products and messages drive conversions.

- Build a structured creative-testing framework.

- Identify creative fatigue early.

- Translate advertising data into clear briefs for the creative team.

Analytics & Attribution:

- Strong understanding of Meta attribution, Shopify analytics, GA4 and Google Ads.

- Understand Pixel, CAPI, GTM and tracking fundamentals.

- Analyse the complete funnel from impression click session add-to-cart checkout purchase repeat purchase.

- Build clear weekly and monthly performance dashboards.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3- 6 years of hands-on performance marketing experience.

- Strong preference for candidates who have worked with D2C/e-commerce brands.

- Demonstrable experience managing and scaling meaningful Meta advertising budgets.

- Strong Meta Ads expertise is essential.

- Google Ads experience preferred.

- Experience working with Shopify-based D2C businesses strongly preferred.

- Excellent numerical and analytical ability.

- Comfortable working directly with founders in a fast-growing company.

- High ownership mindset.
