Pega Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Pega applications using Pega PRPC (versions 8.x and above).
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop workflows, case management, decision rules, and integrations with external systems.
• Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to Pega best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and solution architecture planning.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security protocols, and governance frameworks.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 - 10 years of experience in Pega application development.
• Strong expertise in Pega PRPC, case management, decisioning, and integration services.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, and Java for system integration.
• Knowledge of Pega frameworks (Customer Service, Smart Dispute, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
