Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade BPM and case management solutions on the Pega platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Pega application development, integration, workflow automation, and performance optimization, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Pega applications aligned with business requirements.
- Build and maintain case types, stages, processes, flows, decision rules, data pages, and UI components.
- Develop reusable rule-based components to improve efficiency and maintainability.
- Create integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, connectors, and services.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and technical Pega solutions.
- Support application testing, defect resolution, and production issue troubleshooting.
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA, and support teams throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Optimize application performance and ensure solutions follow Pega best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation for application design, configurations, and support procedures.
- Assist in release activities, deployments, and post-production support as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the application landscape.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Pega PRPC / Pega Infinity development.
- Strong understanding of Pega case lifecycle, workflow automation, decisioning, and data management.
- Experience in designing and implementing integrations using REST and SOAP services.
- Knowledge of Pega UI development, including sections, harnesses, layouts, and dynamic UI elements.
- Good understanding of data pages, declarative processing, activities, and report definitions.
- Experience in troubleshooting application issues and performing root-cause analysis.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Pega CSA or CSSA certification.
- Experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud deployment environments.
- Prior experience in domains such as banking, insurance, healthcare, or telecom.
