Peer Review Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Reviewer Selection Editorial Assistant and Peer Review Coordinator to manage manuscript submissions and coordinate the peer review process. The role involves identifying qualified reviewers, ensuring timely communication, and maintaining high-quality and ethical review standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end manuscript submission and tracking process.
• Screen submissions for journal guideline compliance and peer review suitability.
• Identify and invite expert reviewers aligned with manuscript subject areas.
• Coordinate communication between authors, reviewers, and editorial teams.
• Monitor review timelines and ensure timely completion of reviews.
• Maintain and update databases for manuscripts, reviewers, and review status.
• Ensure quality, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical publishing standards.
• Identify conflicts of interest and address ethical concerns.
• Generate reports on manuscript status and peer review performance.
• Continuously improve peer review workflows and processes.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Masters degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences / Biosciences / Bioinformatics / Pharma Sciences / Allied Health Sciences / Physics / Chemistry.
• Research exposure in biological, biomedical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related domains is preferred.
