Peer Review Administrator

Job Responsibilities

• Screening and assessment of scholarly articles.
• Integrity checks and editor assignment on the incoming submissions as per the guidelines.
• Maintaining good relationship with Editor-in-Chief, Editors and Editorial Board Members.
• Managing the implementation of new policies and journal workflow.
• Being the first point of contact for authors and reviewers regarding their papers.
• Providing accurate and regular reports to editors and publishers.
• Monitoring the status of special issues.
• Working with other internal department for any journal related issues

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office and web-based applications.
• Experience in the field of scholarly publishing is preferred.
• Knowledge of handling online peer review management systems.
• Proven track record of research publications will be an added advantage.
• A positive and proactive approach to problem solving both in daily tasks and more complex trouble shooting.

Location: Trichy / Any other location ready for relocation
