Payroll Executive

Role & responsibilities -

The role includes managing and executing the organizations payroll processes accurately and on time. The role ensures employees are paid correctly while complying with statutory, tax, and labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities -

• Extend support in the payroll processing of above 1000 employees, including full-time and contractual staff.
• Update and verify employee information on HRMS, monthly attendance & leave management, advance and expense verification on KEKA before payroll run.
• Coordinate with the Accounts team to ensure accurate payroll inputs and approvals.
• Generate and validate payroll reports, payslips, and reconciliation statements via KEKA and share customized reports to the management as and when required within the stipulated time.
• Maintain payroll-related documentation and support audits or inspections with accurate records.
• Handle employee payroll and taxation queries courteously and ensure prompt resolution.
• Support in periodic payroll data analysis and MIS reporting for management review.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all payroll and employee financial data.
• Possess advanced knowledge of PF and ESI regulations to brief employees, handle complex queries, and ensure accurate compliance and documentation.
• Drive training programmes for new joiners regarding PF ESI.

Qualifications & Skills Education:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

Experience & Skills :

• 12 years of experience in payroll or HR operations (preferably in an educational institution or service sector).
• Hands-on experience with KEKA HRMS will be an added advantage
• Working knowledge of statutory compliance EPF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, etc.
• Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas).
• Must have excellent communication skills.
