• The Patent Agent supports the protection and management of intellectual property by preparing, filing, and prosecuting patent applications.
• The role involves working closely with inventors, researchers, engineers, and legal teams to identify patentable inventions and develop effective patent strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and file patent applications.
• Conduct patentability, prior art, and freedom-to-operate searches.
• Manage patent prosecution before patent offices.
• Analyze inventions and prepare technical disclosures.
• Support patent portfolio development and maintenance.
• Monitor competitor patents and technology trends.
• Coordinate with inventors, R&D teams, and external counsel.
• Assist with IP due diligence and patent landscape analyses.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Qualified/registered Patent Agent (as applicable in the jurisdiction).
• Experience in patent drafting and prosecution.
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
