Role Overview:

The Outsourcing Supply Chain Specialist plays a critical role in managing third-party supplier

relationships and driving efficient external procurement strategies.
This position is responsible

for identifying reliable outsourcing partners, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that outsourced

goods and services meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
The role requires strong

analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills to align external supply chain functions with

internal business goals.
The specialist will work closely with procurement, operations, logistics,

and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of outsourced supply into the overall supply

chain.

Roles responsibilities:

Develop and implement outsourcing strategies that support overall supply chain and

business objectives

Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve service levels, and mitigate risks through

effective outsourcing.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suitable third-party vendors and manufacturers.

Negotiate terms, pricing, service level agreements (SLAs), and contractual obligations

with outsourcing partners.

Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all outsourced supply chain functions.
Track and evaluate vendor performance against key metrics such as quality, delivery

timelines, and cost-effectiveness.

Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans as necessary.

Coordinate closely with procurement, production, logistics, quality assurance, and

finance teams to ensure end-to-end alignment.

Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to address issues

and improve efficiency.

Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier dependency, geopolitical factors, and

market volatility.

Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies.

Prepare and manage budgets related to outsourced supply chain functions.

Prepare regular reports and dashboards for internal review and decision-making.

Ensure that outsourcing practices adhere to company sustainability and ethical sourcing

guidelines.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills

Experience in vendor sourcing, evaluation, and relationship management
