Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and innovative R&D Flavor Specialist to develop and enhance flavor profiles for oral care and cosmetic products
The role involves creating unique, consumer-preferred flavors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring market-ready products to life

Key Responsibilities
Research, develop, and optimize flavor systems for oral care (toothpaste, mouthwash, etc) and cosmetic formulations (lip care, flavored skincare, etc)
Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to ensure flavor acceptance and preference
Collaborate with R&D chemists, product managers, and marketing teams for product development projects
Ensure flavor safety and compliance with local & international regulatory standards
Maintain detailed technical documentation for all formulations and trials
Source and evaluate new flavor ingredients, extracts, and natural/aromatic compounds
Provide technical support during scale-up and production phases to ensure flavor stability and consistency
Stay updated on global flavor trends, technologies, and innovations in the personal care industry

Required Qualifications & Skills
Hard Skills:
Strong expertise in flavor formulation & application for oral care and cosmetic products
Knowledge of sensory science, stability testing, and flavor masking techniques
Understanding of cosmetic & oral care regulations (FSSAI, BIS, FDA, etc)
Proficiency in analytical tools for flavor evaluation
Experience with natural extracts, essential oils, and synthetic flavor compounds

Education & Certifications:
BSC, MSC/ Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Flavor, or related field
Certification in Flavor Chemistry or Sensory Analysis (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Experience:
3-7 years of relevant experience in flavor development for oral care, cosmetics, or FMCG products
