Oracle PL SQL Developer ERP Domain

We are looking for a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 2-8 years of experience in ERP application development. The candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL programming, ERP business processes, and Java API integration.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to improve development speed, code quality, troubleshooting, documentation, and overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views and queries.
• Design and develop database solutions for ERP business processes.
• Understand and work with ERP modules such as:
• MM Material Management
• SD – Sales & Distribution
• PP – Production Planning
• Develop complex SQL queries, reports, validations and business rules.
• Perform SQL/PLSQL performance tuning and troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Develop and integrate Java APIs / REST APIs with Oracle-based ERP applications.
• Work closely with Java/UI developers for end-to-end feature implementation.
• Understand existing ERP architecture, database relationships and transaction flows.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing and production support.
• Use AI tools effectively for faster development, debugging, code optimization, documentation and test-case generation.
• Analyze production issues and provide permanent technical solutions.
• Follow coding standards, database design standards and version-control practices.

Required Technical Skills

Must Have:

• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Cursors and Collections.
• Good understanding of Oracle performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with ERP application/database architecture.
• Knowledge of MM / SD / PP business processes.
• Strong experience in Java API / REST API integration.
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot existing enterprise applications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Oracle 19c or higher.
• Java / Spring Boot knowledge.
• REST / JSON / XML integration.
• Experience with ERP interfaces and third-party system integration.
• Knowledge of Git or other version-control systems.
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or equivalent.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–8 years of relevant experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Experience in ERP product/application development will be preferred.
• Candidates who have worked across Database + API + ERP business logic will have an advantage.
• Strong understanding of business requirements and ability to convert them into technical solutions.
• Willingness to continuously adopt AI-driven development practices to improve productivity.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
