Oracle PaaS Administrator
Focus Area: Governance of OCI environments, focusing on Autonomous Databases and Integration Cloud services
Client Type: Leading Global Professional Services Firm (On permanent Payroll of IBU Group)
Work Location: Multiple locations across India (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office)
Shift Timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST (Providing overlap with global teams)
Experience Level: 3 to 9 Years
Core Responsibilities
  • Environment Management: Provision, configure, and maintain OCI PaaS instances across Development, Test, and Production environments.
  • Database Administration: Manage Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) workloads.
  • Identity & Security: Lead OCI IAM (Identity and Access Management) activities, including user deprovisioning, access reviews, and audit compliance.
  • Platform Integration: Support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and ensure seamless connectivity across the cloud ecosystem.
  • Operational Support: Conduct regular patching, cloning, and performance tuning while ensuring 24/7 operational availability.
  • Governance: Manage service limits, monitor usage quotas, and implement root cause analysis (RCA) for platform incidents.
Technical Requirements
  • Proven experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administration.
  • Hands-on expertise with Autonomous Databases (ADB) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Strong understanding of Identity Cloud Services (IDCS) and IAM policies.
  • Proficiency in OCI logging, monitoring, and auditing tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Foundations or Professional Associate.
  • Experience in global delivery models supporting US or EMEA time zones.
