Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 support for Oracle databases (OLTP, OLAP, RAC, Data Guard)

  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, connectivity, backup, recovery, and replication issues

  • Monitor database health, space usage, and performance metrics

  • Assist in database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching

  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions

  • Perform routine maintenance, tuning, and optimization of Oracle databases

  • Maintain database security, user accounts, roles, and privileges

  • Analyze database logs and trace files to identify and resolve issues

  • Work closely with application, infrastructure, and network teams for cross-functional problem resolution

  • Document incidents, resolutions, processes, and procedures for knowledge management

  • Participate in database migrations, high availability setups, and system upgrades

  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management
