Database Security: Ensure databases are secure by managing user roles, permissions, and ensuring compliance with security best practices and organizational standards.

High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage high availability solutions like Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and standby databases for disaster recovery.

Capacity Planning: Work with teams to forecast database storage needs and optimize resources as required for scaling.

Database Upgrades & Patches: Perform regular database patching, upgrades, and migrations to ensure systems are running the latest, most secure Oracle versions.

Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Provide proactive database monitoring and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues affecting database performance and availability.

Automation & Scripting: Automate routine database administration tasks using scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python.

Database Optimization: Perform routine database optimizations such as reorganization, partitioning, and indexing to maintain performance and reduce downtime.

Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and other teams to ensure that database systems align with business and technical needs. Document processes, procedures, and best practices for internal reference.
