Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases for large-scale applications.
- Perform database migrations from one version to another (e.g., 10g to 11g) using tools like Dataguard and DataPump.
- Ensure high availability of databases by implementing Real Application Clusters (RAC) and performing regular maintenance tasks such as patching, backups, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot issues related to database performance, security, and data integrity.
Job Requirements :
- 7-15 years of experience in Oracle DBA role with expertise in backup and recovery procedures.
- Proficiency in performing database migrations using various tools like Dataguard and DataPump.
- Strong understanding of RAC architecture and its implementation for high availability purposes.
- Experience with backup strategies including full backups, incremental backups, archiving etc.
