OpenText Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure APM, OBM, and NNMi monitoring solutions
• Set up transaction monitoring, alerts, and event correlation
• Integrate OBM with ITSM tools such as OpenText SMAX or Service Manager
• Build dashboards and monitoring views for performance tracking
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize monitoring systems
• Perform upgrades, patching, and regular system maintenance

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in APM, OBM, and NNMi tools
• Strong understanding of application monitoring (Java/.NET environments)
• Knowledge of event management and alerting concepts
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Linux/Windows environments
• Experience with integrations using REST APIs and ITSM tools

Good to Have

• Exposure to SiteScope, BPM, or RUM tools
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, or Python)
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

Experience & Qualification

• 3 5 years of IT experience (minimum 2+ years in APM/OBM/NNMi)
• Graduate in Engineering, IT, or equivalent qualification

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management ability
